Public invited to Rotary Viewpoint dedication on April 16

Join Rotarians and city officials atop Cap Sante to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Rotary Viewpoint at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16. Please note that the road to the Viewpoint will be closed. To get to the event you can hop a free shuttle or join a walking group. Parking for both options is available just west of the Yacht Club in the Port of Anacortes lot.

• The shuttles will run continuously, leaving from the Anacortes Yacht Club starting at 1 p.m. and approximately every 10 minutes thereafter. Shuttles will return people to the Yacht Club following the ceremony.

• Rotarians will lead walking groups to the summit. The half-mile walk is rated moderate due to the elevation gain. Walks will leave from the Anacortes Yacht Club starting at 1 p.m. Rotarians will guide people back to the Yacht Club following the ceremony.
