Anacortes Rotary directly participates in selected international projects and supports a number of others.  As is the Rotary way, a project is managed in a partnership with an in-country, local club that is dedicated to bettering its community.  Typically, multiple US-based clubs will opt to join the lead club sending members to help, often with additional monetary support from the broader Rotary District (Anacortes & Skagit County are in #5050) and Rotary International.

Check out the short, informative video from the club's recent activities building water systems, schools, and micro-credit banks in Honduras.  Charity begins at home but that doesn't mean it has to stop there!
